The College of Computer Science and Information Technology’s unit for women’s affairs organized a seminar titled “Enhancing Family Bonds” on Sunday, March 31, 2024. The seminar was held in the Khwarizmi Hall and featured presentations by Assistant Professor Mahmoud Qahtan Mubdir and Assistant Professor Rawaa Abdul Jawad Lufta.

The seminar aimed to emphasize the importance of strengthening family ties, fostering understanding, constructive dialogue, and active listening to family issues. Topics covered included the causes of family breakdown, the necessity of bridging the age gap, and strengthening positive emotional bonds to instill confidence in children to face society.

Moreover, the seminar discussed the concept and significance of dialogue in enhancing family bonds, addressing family issues, building love, trust, and cooperation among family members. Organizers stressed the importance of creating balance within the family, meeting societal demands, confronting social and economic pressures, and ways to address them, along with the enactment of laws aimed at enhancing family bonds.
