The Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology at Karbala University, Dr. Muwaffaq Kazim Al-Hasnawi, attended the first annual Al-Ghadeer Festival organized by the Department of Women’s Affairs in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in cooperation with Karbala and Zahra (peace be upon her) Universities for Girls, with the participation of a large number of professors of the two universities and representatives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Global Research, on Wednesday, 3/7/2024.

The festival, which was held under the slogan “Women in the perspective of Imam Ali (peace be upon him),” included a series of speeches and poems that showed the extent of Imam Ali’s (peace be upon him) contribution to establishing women’s rights within the framework of the Holy Qur’an and the Prophetic Sunnah, in addition to organizing a dialogue seminar on women in the thought of Imam Ali (peace be upon him).
