A handover ceremony took place at Karbala University today, where Professor Dr Sabah Wajid Ali took over as President of the university, succeeding Professor Bassem Khalil Nayel Al-Saidi. The ceremony was attended by the Assistant President for Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr Akram Mohsen Al-Yasiri, the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr Najm Abdul Hussain Al-Janabi, college deans and heads of administrative departments in the University’s Presidency, as well as Dr Mohsen Kanani, Chairman of the Higher Education Committee in the Provincial Council.
