Students must bring their original and color photocopied documents when they come to register.
The student must bring three (3) recent color photos.
Withdraw the online registration form, the housing pledge form, and the sponsor pledge form, and any other form will be rejected.
Students who live in Babylon governorate or areas close to Karbala governorate must bring a proof of residence stating the distance between Karbala and the student’s place of residence, stamped and certified by the municipal council.
The student’s endorsement on the college registration field in the form supports his/her continuation of study and his/her result (Passed (first semester, second semester) / Failed / Transit / Hosting).
Referring to the letter of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research / Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Agency / Department of Internal Department Affairs No. (JQ 1420 on 6/13/2021), including Law No. (11) of 2021, paragraph six and seven of Article (1), which stipulates the following:
The fees collected from students living in the boarding departments for morning and evening preliminary studies and postgraduate studies is an amount of (30,000) thirty thousand dinars per year allocated by the Ministry of Finance for each student in the boarding departments, except for the students mentioned in the letter of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research / Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority / Department of Boarding Department Affairs No. (3664) on 9/11/2022, which states the following:-
In the event that the student fails in the academic year (failure) a semester or any other reason, the fees of his housing allowance for the following year will be doubled, except for postponement for health reasons or any emergency circumstance by the President of the University.
The first students in the scientific departments (sequence No. 1) (general admission channel) only and the families of the martyrs of the security forces and the Popular Mobilization Forces are exempted from the housing allowance fees.
The student is bound by a bond of (250,000) two hundred and fifty thousand dinars to collect the amounts owed to him from them.
The presence of a sponsor (government employee) to organize the student’s sponsorship when registering in the internal section (for all first-stage students), but for other stages, the sponsor’s presence is in case there is a shortage in the previous year.
The sponsor must bring the original government institution ID (valid), a color copy and a letter confirming his continued service from his department addressed to (Karbala University / Department of Internal Departments) and take the special pledges.
The presence of the student’s guardian at the time of registration with an identity card for the guardian (original and color copy) in order to take the special pledges and to continue communication between the department and the guardian throughout the academic year.
The student must bring a medical examination to ensure that he is free of communicable and infectious diseases, otherwise the form will be rejected.
