The Assistant President of the University for Administrative Affairs Prof. Dr. Akram Mohsen Al-Yasiri discussed with a delegation from the Civil Defence Directorate in Karbala Governorate and Asiacell Telecom the possibility of enhancing public safety in the university’s formations. During the meeting, they discussed preventive methods to avoid fires and accidents, stressing the importance of following preventive measures to prevent accidents. The meeting stressed the need for cooperation between the two institutions to provide civil protection and face emergency situations, in addition to monitoring the work of firefighting systems. In a related matter, Asiacell delivered signage containing safety procedures and how to control the firefighting system.
