As part of the World Arabic Language Day celebrations, [the Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Computer Science and Information Technology] organised an educational seminar on [Thursday, 26/12/2024] in [Al-Khwarizmi Hall]. The seminar was attended by the following professors:

The seminar aimed at introducing the language and its importance and what the World Arabic Language Day is and highlighting its most important arts, scholars and poets. The seminar included part of the celebration, which was centred on various activities that show the importance of preserving our language and its place among languages.

The symposium concluded with an awareness-raising activity on the importance of the Arabic language, what we learnt from it and what it means to us as our language and the title of our identity.

The symposium recommended that the Arabic language should be protected and prioritised as the mother tongue.
