Attendance of the Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology at the Iraq-Iran Flag Week

The Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, Dr Muwaffaq Kazim Al-Hasnawi, attended the activities of the second edition of the Iraq-Iran Flag Week, organised by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and hosted by Karbala University

The Dean said that the Iraq-Iran Flag Week is an ideal opportunity to exchange ideas and promote bilateral cooperation, expressing his hope that this distinguished scientific event will be an occasion to consolidate aspects of scientific and academic cooperation between the universities of the two countries.

More than 100 universities from the two countries are participating in the week with the aim of strengthening cooperation and scientific, research and academic interaction between scientific and research institutions in the two countries.

During the Iraq-Iran Science Week, an executive programme was signed between the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and its Iranian counterpart, including provisions for scholarships for undergraduate and postgraduate studies, organising training workshops for teachers and students, as well as encouraging cooperation in the field of joint scientific supervision and exchange of university professors.
