The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Abboudi, stressed the importance of providing the governorates and their institutions with specialised services, expertise, training programmes and technical consultations. This came during his meeting with the Wasit University Council, where the Minister of Education pointed to the importance of developing the educational process, updating its contexts and providing scientific research opportunities that contribute to the development of the governorates and providing them with academic expertise, consultations and specialised services. He urged the need to continue strengthening the functions of universities as a productive and effective environment with an impact on the development of society, stressing at the same time the importance of achieving integration between them.
