The College of Computer Science and Information Technology at the University of Karbala held an introductory workshop titled “University Management System: Human Resources (HR) and Student Information System (SIS).” The event was attended by the university president, his assistant, deans of colleges, as well as several faculty members and students interested in information technology and modern administrative systems.

Lecturers Dr. Zaid Hassan Nasrallah and Dr. Ali Mohammed Redha highlighted the importance of university management systems in improving the efficiency of both educational and administrative processes. The discussion focused on how information technology can be used to enhance human resource management and the student information system, which plays a crucial role in tracking academic performance and student engagement.

The workshop attracted a group of academics and students who expressed great interest in the topic, praising the pioneering role of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology in promoting technical knowledge and fostering a digital culture within the university.

The speakers emphasized that these systems help streamline registration procedures, update data, and provide academic services more effectively, contributing to higher education quality and an improved student experience.
