The College of Computer Science and Information Technology conducted an online welcoming and introductory meeting with newly registered students on Sunday 3/1/2021. The meeting was attended by the Dean of the College Prof. Dr. Ahmed Abdul-Hadi, the Dean Assistant for Scientific Affairs and Heads of the Departments. The Dean opened the meeting with a welcoming speech, urging students to regularly attend lectures and do homework. He further explained the importance of computer science and information technology. Later, the Dean Assistant for Scientific Affairs explained the mechanism for distributing students on the two departments of the college and the date of starting the actual lectures for first-year students. In addition, the Head of the Information Technology Department clarified how to enter the college’s website and check the weekly timetable. The Head of the Computer Department, in turn, welcomed the new students and urged them to communicate with the department’s administration to overcome all the difficulties that students may face. At the end of the meeting, all students’ questions and inquiries were answered
