The Women's Affairs Unit at the College of Computer Science and Information Technology organised an awareness workshop entitled: "The Role of Women in Political Participation" on Monday, 2/12/2024 in Al-Khwarizmi Hall. The workshop aimed to talk about the role of women in the political movement and the effective role in the fairness of women in these roles. The workshop was presented by teaching assistant Zahraa Abdul Amir Ahmed. The workshop recommended the need to provide sufficient opportunities for women to take their active role in all fields.

The Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, Dr. Mowaffak Kazim Al-Hasnawi, reviewed the preparations for the Global Entrepreneurship Week projects. He stressed that this global event aims to introduce entrepreneurship as an opportunity for young people worldwide to create new business ideas and stimulate their abilities to explore available opportunities to achieve their practical and professional ambitions and praised the efforts made by the college staff and students in completing important projects that contribute to the development of the labour market.
