The College of Computer Science and Information Technology organised a workshop as part of the "Riyada" initiative for students and youth entitled "Developing a Project Plan" in which certified trainer Maher Hassan Kazim trained a group of participants in the "Riyada" initiative launched by Prime Minister Mohammed Shi'a Al Sudani to develop the skills of students in preparation for establishing their own projects. The workshop aimed to train and develop the skills of participants to establish their own projects in production and service fields.

The Women's Affairs Unit at the College of Computer Science and Information Technology organised an awareness workshop entitled: "The Role of Women in Political Participation" on Monday, 2/12/2024 in Al-Khwarizmi Hall. The workshop aimed to talk about the role of women in the political movement and the effective role in the fairness of women in these roles. The workshop was presented by teaching assistant Zahraa Abdul Amir Ahmed. The workshop recommended the need to provide sufficient opportunities for women to take their active role in all fields.
