Under the supervision of Dr. Mowaffaq Kazem Al-Hasnawi, Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, the Student Activities Division organized a voluntary initiative entitled “My School”, launched by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

The initiative targeted the pupils of Al-Qiblatain Primary School for Boys, providing them with essential school supplies — including various stationery items, school bags, and other necessary materials — to support them at the start of the new academic year.

Dr. Al-Hasnawi affirmed that this activity reflects the commitment of the University of Karbala and the College of Computer Science and Information Technology to serving the community, promoting the culture of volunteer work, and strengthening positive engagement between students, staff, and the local community.

At the conclusion of the initiative, the school administration expressed its deep appreciation to the university and the college for this humanitarian effort, which contributes to creating a better educational environment and supports broader goals such as alleviating poverty and promoting quality education.
