The Women’s Affairs Unit, in cooperation with the Government Contracts Unit at the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, held a seminar on the Labor and Social Security Law between aspirations and challenges

The seminar included clarifying the most important provisions of the Labor Law and the Retirement and Social Security Law for workers, and the most important legislative developments that have occurred.

The seminar highlighted the most important features of the retirement and social security law that contribute to achieving a decent life for those covered by the provisions of the law, as well as the seminar touched on benefiting from the years of work in the private sector, organizing the transfer of years of service from the private sector to the government and increasing the minimum retirement salary to be comparable to their peers in the public sector.
The seminar emphasized the importance of activating the legislative texts that regulate the legal status of the insured worker, and the extent of its contribution to reaching more groups by spreading culture and awareness among those covered by it, as well as providing psychological and material stability for insured workers, retirees and their successors.
