College of Computer Science and Information Technology Holds Workshop on “Performance Evaluation Mechanisms for Faculty and Students within the Bologna Process Framework”

The College of Computer Science and Information Technology held a scientific workshop titled “Performance Evaluation Mechanisms for Faculty and Students within the Bologna Process Framework” as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance the implementation of academic quality standards and align with modern educational systems.

The workshop was led by the Scientific Assistant, Dr. Mohsen Hassan Hussein, and Dr. Ashwan Anwar Abdul Muneem. The session reviewed the foundational principles and standards adopted by the Bologna Process for evaluating academic performance of both faculty members and students, as well as practical methods for applying these standards within educational institutions.

Several key topics were addressed, including the importance of continuous evaluation, the unified European standards for educational quality, and the challenges of implementing this system in the local context along with strategies to overcome them.

The event was attended by a number of faculty members and educational professionals, and it contributed to enriching discussions on ways to develop the higher education system in line with global advancements.
