On Sunday morning, 22/9/2024, the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology at Karbala University hosted the meeting of the Women’s Affairs Division at Karbala University in Al-Khwarizmi Hall. The meeting included female unit officials and liaison members in colleges, including the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology. The meeting aims to make women able to overcome the obstacles they face in all fields. The meeting included the mechanism that women follow in their work, especially their leadership role that obliges them to move forward to achieve their ambitions. The meeting was chaired by Professor Dr Yasmin Khudair Khalaf, the division officer at the university, who focused on The meeting focused on the activities and events that revolve around women, and the strategic plan to be implemented from this year to 2030 as part of the ministerial programme that approved the creation of this unit. The meeting participants pointed out a number of issues that women suffer from in order to find a solution to them in cooperation with the university presidency, and the meeting concluded with several recommendations and general suggestions that concern women
