In accordance with the directives of the esteemed Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Mowafaq Kazem Al-Hasnawi, the committee formed to oversee the “Best Office Space in the Workplace” competition at the College of Computer Science and Information Technology has announced the winner.

The Office of Quality Assurance, managed by Dr. Ashwan Anwar Abdul Muneem, was awarded the title of “Best Office”, following a comprehensive evaluation tour conducted by the committee. The committee was chaired by the Administrative Assistant, Dr. Essam Hamed Abbas, with members Dr. Haitham Mohammed Hussein Al-Ghurabi and Dr. Maha Sabri Al-Tamimi.

The evaluation was based on a set of criteria reflecting a healthy and organized work environment, including: cleanliness and dust-free surfaces, absence of clutter, clean floors and shelves, and a visually pleasant atmosphere—enhanced by natural plants and elements promoting positive colleague interaction. The use of eco-friendly materials and efforts to reduce paper and plastic waste were also key considerations.

This competition aims to promote a culture of cleanliness and organization in the workplace and to encourage staff to innovate in enhancing their office spaces in ways that boost efficiency and inspire performance.
