Vision
Communicates with stakeholders: Works to effectively communicate with stakeholders inside and outside the college, including students, faculty, staff, and donors, to ensure support for construction and renovation projects. Funding and Budgeting: Oversees the allocation of budgets and raises funding for projects through self-funding efforts or external support
Objectives of the Unit
1. Planning and design: The unit plans and designs new buildings and renovates existing facilities in accordance with the college’s educational, research and administrative needs.
2. Project Management: The unit is responsible for managing all phases of a project from start to finish, including coordinating contractors, supervising construction, and ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
3. Maintenance and Renovation: The unit works to maintain and renovate existing buildings and facilities to ensure a safe and efficient learning and research environment.
4. Sustainability and Eco-efficiency: The unit works to apply sustainability and environmental efficiency standards in all construction and renovation projects to minimize the institution’s environmental footprint.
5. Cooperation with other departments: The unit cooperates with other academic and administrative departments in the college to understand their needs and provide effective solutions that support their goals.
6. Risk Management and Security: It assesses risks related to construction and maintenance and applies procedures to ensure the security of facilities and the safety of people.
