During a meeting with Governor of Misan, Mr. Habib Zahir Al-Fartusi and members of its council, His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi announced the initiation of procedures to build an integrated university city for the University of Misan.

Dr. Al-Aboudi announced that the Ministry had initiated procedures to build an integrated university city affiliated with the University of Misan according to modern specifications, which includes buildings for colleges, research centers, advanced laboratories, complexes for dormitories and other support and service facilities.

His Excellency added that cooperation and integration between the University and the Governorate represents an important step to achieve sustainable development and cooperation in the field of scientific and technical consultations, expertise, training and development programs for sectors working in the Governorate, providing support and contributing to protect the environment and enhance community awareness.
