His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi received an official invitation from the Secretary of State for Education in the United Kingdom (Gillian Keegan MP) to participate in the World Education Forum scheduled to be held in London in May 2024.

Dr. Al-Aboudi stressed on the Iraqi academic institution’s keenness on the aspects of internationalizing education and enhancing programs for exchanging educational experiences within productive international partnerships.

For their part, the delegation reviewed that the indicators achieved in the Iraqi higher education and scientific research environment deserve to place Iraqi universities within the climates of scientific interaction and active participation in forums, facilities and international competition platforms.

It is worth to be mentioned that the delegation headed by the Deputy British Ambassador in Baghdad, Mrs. Rosie Cave and a number of representatives of the British Council.
