Prof. Dr. Sabah Wajid Ali, President of the University, received a high-level academic delegation from Iran’s Ferdowsi University as part of enhancing academic and scientific cooperation between the two universities. During the meeting, they discussed ways to develop the partnership between the two educational institutions, exchange experiences in the fields of scientific research, and coordinate joint academic programmes. They also discussed the possibility of organising joint scientific conferences and workshops that contribute to enriching the scientific movement and developing the research capabilities of students and faculty members. Prof. Sabah Wajid stressed the university’s keenness to strengthen cooperation with regional and international academic institutions, which contributes to raising the level of higher education and scientific research. For his part, the head of the delegation from Ferdowsi University expressed his happiness for this visit, pointing to the importance of building bridges of scientific cooperation for the benefit of both sides.
