During a meeting with the Hungarian Minister of Culture and Innovation, Dr. Balázs Hanko, in the Hungarian capital, Budapest, His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi expressed his appreciation for the generous invitation extended by the Republic of Hungary to visit Budapest.
Dr. Al-Aboudi reviewed development of scientific, cultural and academic exchange contexts between the institutions of the two countries, especially with regard to scientific research and formulating joint mechanisms for cooperation and twinning specialized programs in the fields of engineering, medicine, atomic energy and climate.His Excellency highlighted that Iraq and its universities are fully prepared to receive Hungarian students within the Study in Iraq program in various specializations that suit their interests, as well as following-up of Iraqi students studying in Hungary.
Dr. Al-Aboudi demonstrated two sides agreed on the number of Hungarian students who will be allowed to study in Iraqi universities and to strengthen the climate of coordination between university institutions specialized in medical and engineering fields and to form a joint committee from both sides to follow up on the implementation of the agreement’s axes.For his part, the Hungarian Minister of Culture and Innovation, Dr. Balázs Hanko welcomed the visit of His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi and his accompanying delegation to the Hungarian capital.
Dr. Balázs Hanko reviewed the Hungarian side’s interest in the higher education environment, the integration of the academic space with vocational education and linking the university to aspects related to community service.
