The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced the update of the directory of international universities approved for study outside Iraq for the year 2025/2024.

The guide (https://uguide.scrd-gate.gov.iq) includes 1106 scholarship universities and 2250 universities recommended for private expenditure around the world.

The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research clarifies that the directory of scholarship universities is applied for employees and non-employees, while the directory of universities recommended for private expenses is limited to non-employees exclusively, while public universities in all Arab countries are approved for private expenses (for non-employees only) and requires in all of this that the study in scholarship universities and private expenses proven in the directory for employees and non-employees with regular attendance.

In this regard, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announces that the rates of opening the file in the Department of Missions and Cultural Relations to study outside Iraq are not less than 95% for human medicine and 85% for dentistry and pharmacy as of the academic year 2025/2024.
