Education grants Karbala University institutional accreditation

The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has granted Karbala University institutional accreditation.

According to the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the university has received institutional accreditation.

‘In reference to the approval of His Excellency the Honourable Minister on the minutes of the 38th meeting of the Institutional Accreditation Council and the powers conferred on the Council by Ministerial Order (299) on 13/3/2023, it was decided to grant Karbala University institutional accreditation.

The Ministry stressed the need for the university to apply the relevant items stipulated in the Council’s policies and procedures.

For his part, the President of the University, Prof. Dr Sabah Wajid Ali, praised the efforts of the Quality Assurance and University Performance Department, as well as the contribution of university staff, including professors and employees, in achieving excellence and their keenness to raise the name and prestige of the university at the local and international levels.

It is noteworthy that institutional accreditation is granted by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to an academic institution that has met the scientific criteria set by the Ministry, including having effective systems to ensure the quality and continuous improvement of its academic activities in accordance with published regulations.
