The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Abboudi, discussed with the President of the Turkish Scholarship Authority, Abdullah Ern, the development of reciprocal study programs and enabling Iraqi students to specialize in disciplines directly related to sustainable development.

In a joint meeting, he stressed the importance of scientific and academic coordination and cultural relations between Iraqi and Turkish universities and the development of mutual scholarship programs in light of the contexts of understanding adopted by the two sides, pointing out that Iraq provides a positive environment to attract international students through the Study in Iraq initiative.

For his part, the head of the Turkish Scholarship Commission, Abdullah Ern, thanked the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research for the direct interest in developing cultural, scientific and academic cooperation between the two countries
