The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, stressed that the success achieved in university institutions within two years is based on the quality of academic programs and keeping pace with the variables of knowledge and the labor market.
This came in his speech during the graduation ceremony of the thirty-first session of the students of Al-Nahrain University, where he explained that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research works according to its strategic policy, its work perspective and its belief in the stages of integration to develop and develop the scientific and research environment, which was the basis and anchor to accelerate the wheel of universities, colleges, branches, departments and centers in recording competitive positions in the production of published scientific research and leading results in international rankings and surveys, indicating at the same time that the success achieved in Iraqi university institutions during the two years of the Iraqi government was based on the quality of academic programs.
In his speech, he renewed the implementation of the programs indicated in the government program and the ministerial platform of the Iraqi government, overcoming all challenges and commitment to integration based on a clear vision that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research is the sectoral body legally authorized to manage the educational process in all its disciplines and has several responsibilities represented by the remarkable increase in the percentage of enrollment in university education institutions and regulating the relationship with the diverse work environment in the public and private sector, pointing out that the decisions taken within two years of performance came in the context of consolidating the culture and concepts of quality in higher education institutions and achieving the highest level of quality.
The graduation ceremony of the thirty-first session included a review of the graduates’ processions for the faculties of law, medicine, engineering, engineering, science, political science, information engineering, business economics, biotechnology and pharmacy, the procession of members of the faculties’ councils and faculty and the procession of the University Council, while official speeches were delivered by the President of Al-Nahrain University and the representative of the graduating students, the unified university oath and the ceremony of awarding certificates.
The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, concluded the graduation ceremony by honoring the first students and expressed his blessing for their new journey ahead, pointing out that the graduation of this group of Nahrain University students gives additional momentum towards maintaining the academic reputation of Iraqi educational institutions that embodied decades of dedication, work, commitment and responsible performance.
