The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research issued a ministerial order appointing Prof. Dr Sabah Wajid Ali as President of Karbala University, succeeding Prof. Bassem Khalil Al-Saidi. The President of Karbala University, Prof. Sabah Wajid, said, “We will continue implementing plans aimed at developing the academic and educational process in all its colleges and research centres, while praising the great efforts made by his predecessor Prof. Bassem Khalil Al-Saidi in serving higher education.
