The Times Higher Education Interdisciplinary Science Rankings 2025 has released the results of its 2025 edition of the best universities for interdisciplinary research. The Interdisciplinary Science Rankings evaluated 749 universities around the world on eleven performance indicators in three key areas: (Inputs: 19%), (Process: 16%) and (Outputs: 65%). The results (https://www.timeshighereducation.com/interdisciplinary-science-rankings#!/length/25/locations/IRQ/sort_by/rank/sort_order/asc) showed Baghdad University ranked 161st globally, followed by Jehan-Erbil, Future, Babel, Technological, Anbar, Nahrin, Farahidi, Middle Euphrates, Tikrit, Diyala and Wasit universities.
Ninety-two countries competed in this ranking, which is the first of its kind to measure the contributions of universities and their commitment to interdisciplinary sciences. Twelve universities represented Iraq, making it third in the participating Arab countries and 20th globally, which is the same contribution occupied by Malaysia and Poland.
