Karbala University held a ceremony to honour the ideal employee for the year 2024 of teaching professors and employees in the presence of the university president, Prof. Dr. Sabah Wajid Ali, his assistant for administrative affairs, Dr. Jassim Barak al-Maamouri, his assistant for scientific affairs, Dr. Haider Mohammed, and a number of deans of colleges, teachers and employees.

In a speech on the occasion, the university president said that the honour comes within the framework of Karbala University’s efforts to promote a positive work environment and appreciate the outstanding efforts of employees.

Wajid pointed out that the honouring aims to create a spirit of competition and exert the best efforts to develop and prosper the institutional work.

The university president stressed the need to proceed and work with a team spirit to achieve qualitative leaps in local and international rankings.

It is worth mentioning that the event of honouring the ideal employee is in line with the government’s vision and the directives of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi.
