The College of Computer Science and Information Technology at the University of Karbala inaugurated the laboratories of the Cybersecurity Department, in the presence of the President of Al-Ain Private University, Prof. Dr. Haider Abdul Ameer Marhoon, accompanied by members of the university council, and the President of the University of Karbala, Dr. Sabah Wajid Ali.

They were welcomed by the Dean of the College, Dr. Mowaffaq Kadhem Al-Hasnawi, along with the Scientific Assistant, Dr. Mohsen Hassan Hussein, the Administrative Assistant, Dr. Muhannad Kamil Abdul-Hamid, as well as the heads of academic departments and a number of faculty members and staff.

The inauguration of these laboratories comes within the framework of strengthening the academic infrastructure and developing the educational environment, aiming to equip students with practical skills and up-to-date knowledge in the field of cybersecurity, in order to meet labor market demands and safeguard information systems against emerging threats.
