In a move that reflects his appreciation for his sincere efforts, the President of Karbala University, Dr Sabah Wajid Ali, honoured the Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, Dr Muwaffaq Kazim Al-Hasnawi, in recognition of his efforts in the Institutional Accreditation Committee at Karbala University and on the occasion of the granting of institutional accreditation by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

For his part, the President of the University, Prof. Dr Sabah Wajid Ali, praised the efforts of the Quality Assurance and University Performance Department, as well as the contribution of university staff, including professors and employees, in achieving excellence and their keenness to raise the name and status of the university at the local and international levels.

The President of the University praised the great role played by the Dean of the College, stressing that his active participation in all activities inside and outside the university reflects his keenness to raise the name of the university high and his high sense of responsibility towards the scientific and academic community.

For his part, Dr. Muwaffaq Kazim Al-Hasnawi expressed his thanks and appreciation for this honour, stressing that he will do his best to serve the university and elevate it to the ranks of international universities
