Karbala University President Dr Sabah Wajid Ali inspected the medical detachments contributed by professors and students from the faculties of medicine, pharmacy y, and dentistry to provide medical services to the visitors of the 40th anniversary of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him with the participation of a number of medical students. Dr Sabah Wajid praised the efforts made by the medical detachments to serve the visitors coming to Karbala city since the first of the month of Safar Al-Khayr.
The medical detachments provide various treatment services to the visitors, including fillings and tooth extraction, as well as treating cases that are difficult to reach hospitals due to the crowded roads. Karbala University’s contribution to providing services to the visitors comes within the government program launched by the Prime Minister, under the supervision of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi. As in previous years, the university is keen to provide what it can to the visitors of the holy shrines in Karbala during the million visits and religious occasions. It is indicated that Karbala University continues to provide meals to visitors daily through its motorcade.
