Dr. Naeem Al-Abboudi, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, has approved considering the academic year 2023/2024 as a non-retention year exclusively for students in completed academic stages.

The decision stated: “In an effort by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to address the cases of students in completed academic stages who were unable to pass the academic year 2023/2024 due to their circumstances, the approval of His Excellency the Minister has been obtained to consider the academic year 2023/2024 as a non-retention year for students who will be promoted to the mentioned year and for completed stages exclusively in both governmental and private morning and evening studies.”
