Pursuant to its policy of addressing vacant seats in the postgraduate studies plan for the academic year 2025/2024, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announces the approval of His Excellency Minister Dr Naim Al-Aboudi on a decision to rotate the unoccupied seats for admission to the Iraqi Board of Medical Specialities.

The decision included transferring the 155 vacant seats in the concession channel to the private expense of those wishing to do so and filling them with reserve candidates in the specialties of general surgery, orthopedics, trauma, ENT surgery, urology, ophthalmology, plastic, and reconstructive surgery, gynecology and obstetrics, internal medicine, pediatrics, family medicine, anesthesia a,nd intensive care. Family, Anaesthesiology, Intensive Care, Neurosurgery, Diagnostic Radiology, Dermatology, Cardiology, Clinical Pharmacy, Joint Diseases, Adult Clinical Haematology, Oncology, Neurophysiology, Physical Medicine, Clinical Therapeutic Radiology, Adult Respiratory Diseases, Adult Nephrology, Oral Surgery, and Dental Implants.
