Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Dr Naim al-Abboudi inaugurated a number of research centres, classrooms and scientific laboratories at Anbar University.

During a press conference, he stressed that Anbar University is working diligently to complete new university projects and achieve academic growth and development.

Anbar University represents the diversity of the Iraqi environment, with nearly 4,000 students from various Iraqi provinces, in addition to international students, he said.

The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research is keen to improve infrastructure, develop university facilities, provide modern educational and research facilities, support scientific research and promote innovation in various scientific disciplines, he said.

The inaugurated projects included the classroom building of the College of Education for Humanities and the infrastructure development project at the Electronic Computing Centre, the Medical Engineering Research Centre and the Nanotechnology Engineering Research Centre.
