The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Abboudi, inaugurated a number of construction projects at the University of Maysan.

During his tour of the inaugural projects in the presence of Maysan Governor Habib Al-Fartousi and Maysan University President Dr. Adel Manea, the Minister stressed that the Ministry is working according to a strategic vision related to developing the internal efficiency of universities and embodying this through the opening of construction projects as a pillar towards improving the educational and research environment for students and teachers.

He added that the new projects opened will contribute to absorbing the index of the increasing number of students annually, noting at the same time that the requirements of the quality of the academic environment are taken into account.

The projects inaugurated by the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi at the University of Maysan included new buildings in the College of Pharmacy, classrooms, applied laboratories and consulting clinics in the College of Dentistry and the main gate of the university.
