The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr Naim Al-Aboudi, inaugurated the internal departments building and new construction projects at the Central Technical University.

In a press conference in the presence of the university president and members of the university council, the minister said that the completion of new projects at universities aims to develop the educational infrastructure, enhance the quality of the university environment, and develop laboratories and service facilities.

He added that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research is working to complete its plan and complete the projects of its institutions in a timely manner that serves the mission and goals of Iraqi universities.

The inaugurated projects included a 400-bed student dormitory complex, an annex to the university’s presidency building, and water approaches that support the environment of the university’s green spaces.
