The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, inaugurated the building of internal departments, a conference hall and the Olympic open stadium at the Technical Institute in Al-Amara, affiliated to the Southern Technical University.

During his tour of the inaugurated projects, the Minister of Education stressed the ministry’s keenness to develop technical education in universities and institutes because this important educational pattern is linked to the development movement, pointing out that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has provided a supportive scientific climate for technical specialties, embodied by improving quality and developing training opportunities for students.

He added that the ministry is studying the trend to create a number of technical specializations that are compatible with the labor market and the country’s development plans.
