The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, inaugurated the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences, scientific laboratories and classrooms at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Muthanna University.
During the opening ceremony in the presence of the Governor of Muthanna, members of the House of Representatives from the province, the President of the Provincial Council and a number of its members, university presidents and college deans, the Minister of Education stressed that the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences, laboratories and classrooms will contribute effectively to the development of capacity at Muthanna University and have an impact on the level of diversity of specializations.
The Minister of Education added that the opening of these colleges indicates the ministry’s commitment to the development of university institutions, especially in areas that need direct support to stimulate sustainable development, stressing that these achievements at Muthanna University and the opening of medical laboratories and classrooms equipped with the latest modern educational technologies constitute an important milestone in the maturation and completion of the infrastructure of the educational institution in Muthanna Governorate, as they will ensure the provision of a high-level educational process that keeps pace with the times and contributes to preparing educational outputs capable of facing the challenges.
He explained that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research is committed to following up on all projects and pushing for their completion according to announced schedules and timelines to serve the public interest and implement the government program and the ministerial platform.
