The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research laid the foundation stone for a number of construction projects at Kufa University.

The Minister of Education stressed during the ceremony of laying the foundation stone for the project of establishing consultancy clinics for the Faculty of Dentistry, the forty-dar project and the hall of Sayyid Al-Shahid Hassan. Mr Nasrallah said the new projects aim to support the educational process, enhance the universities’ infrastructure and provide a favourable scientific and research environment for students and teachers.

He added that work continues to implement many new construction projects at Iraqi universities, modernise existing ones and develop facilities for housing students and teachers in order to make universities centres of attraction for students, especially international ones, and enhance their reputation at the international level.
