Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, emphasized that the international accreditation granted to Iraq in the field of medical education clearly indicates the robustness of academic programs and adherence to internationally recognized standards in Iraqi universities.

This statement was made during his speech at the Ambition and Creativity Forum for scholarship candidates. He described this historic and pioneering achievement in the history of specialized and academic education in Iraq as the result of concerted efforts by dedicated individuals in the National Council for Medical Education and the integration carried out by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and its institutions to achieve this goal, which carries a clear indication of the robustness of academic programs in Iraq and the adherence to internationally recognized standards in Iraqi universities.

He further explained that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has confidently and responsibly achieved, in record time, the aspirations of those dedicated to medical education, providing a supportive professional environment for the Accreditation Council for Medical Colleges in Iraq. This effort has injected a positive momentum in communication with the World Federation for Medical Education until the moment of the international accreditation decision for Iraq.

The Minister renewed the commitment to exerting maximum efforts to provide an educational environment that contributes to the development of capacities and academic programs, keeping pace with medical and scientific developments worldwide.
