Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Na’im Al-Abboudi, honors the winners of the Quranic competition at the University of Al-Nahrain and joins students of the residential departments for a Ramadan Iftar.
The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Na’im Al-Abboudi, honored the students who won the Ramadan Quranic competition organized by the College of Engineering at the University of Al-Nahrain.
The participating students competed in reciting verses from the Quran in front of a specialized committee chaired by Dr. Rafi Al-Amiri. The Minister congratulated the winners and participants for their dedication and excellence in performance and interaction with Quranic content during this blessed month.
In his speech, the Minister emphasized the ministry’s interest in this segment of Quran memorizers, providing suitable environments to nurture them, enabling their acceptance into universities, and empowering them to achieve their academic and scientific ambitions.
The Minister also revealed a national Quranic competition project, managed and formulated by a ministerial committee, which will provide details in the university environment in Iraq.
The Ramadan Quranic competition concluded with an Iftar banquet attended by the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Na’im Al-Abboudi, the President of Al-Nahrain University, deans of colleges, residential department students, and international students studying in Iraq.
