The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the Republic of Iraq and the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research, Technical Education and Vocational Training in the Republic of Yemen signed an executive agreement for the years 2025-2028.

During a joint press conference with his Yemeni counterpart Dr. Khalid Ahmed Al-Wasabi in Baghdad, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi said that the executive agreement includes providing scholarships to Yemeni students in Iraqi universities under the Study in Iraq programme in various disciplines, as well as exchanging expertise and training programmes.

For his part, the Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research, Technical Education and Vocational Training in the Republic of Yemen praised the level of cooperation provided by the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the positive climate for attracting international students in the Study in Iraq programme and strengthening the fields of cultural exchange between the two brotherly countries.
