The Department of Artistic and Cultural Activities at the University of Karbala, under the direct supervision of the Assistant President for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Akram Mohsen Al-Yasiri, organized an event to honor the workers of the university in conjunction with the International Workers’ Day.

The ceremony was attended by the President of the University, Professor Dr. Basim Khaleel Nael Al-Saedi, along with his assistants for administrative and academic affairs, Professor Dr. Akram Mohsen Al-Yasiri and Professor Dr. Najm Abdul Hussein Al-Janabi.

During the honoring ceremony, Al-Saedi stated, “The university operates as one team to ensure the smooth flow and great success of work in various departments of the university,” adding that excellence in work and the success of employees is not related to administrative positions or job titles but is the result of effort, perseverance, and a strong sense of responsibility.

The conclusion of the event witnessed the recognition of a group of service workers at the university, and the university president directed the granting of a cash reward to them in appreciation of their effective role in serving the university.
