Studies and Planning Division
Introduction
The Studies and Planning Department represents one of the key specializations in concepts, theories, urban planning, project management, and environmental planning. It’s important to note that the Studies and Planning Department requires continuity in updating and development, especially given the rapid changes in the world and new technologies. Therefore, academic programs in this field must remain flexible and responsive to modern developments, ensuring the provision of high-quality education that meets the needs of the market and society.
Mission
The mission of the Studies and Planning Department is to provide support and guidance for the implementation of strategic planning at the University of Karbala, aiming to achieve its primary objectives. This includes developing advanced plans and strategies, collecting and analyzing data and information for informed decision-making, supporting information technology and innovation in the fields of education and research, as well as enhancing environmental and social sustainability on campus.
Vision
To provide accurate information tailored to the institution’s work in all its formats. The Studies and Planning Department is directly linked to the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs and Postgraduate Studies at the college, as well as to the Department of Studies and Planning at the Presidency of the University of Karbala. The department includes the Statistics Unit within its structure.
Objectives of the Division
1. Completion of the annual report concerning teaching, technical, administrative staff, and students.
2. Completion of the annual report on conferences, seminars, workshops, college infrastructure, and sports activities.
3. Completion of the annual report regarding the administrative and academic structure.
4. Updating the faculty movement using the Ministry of Statistics system.
5. Updating the faculty movement using the Ministry of Human Resources system.
6. Completion of the annual report on students, college infrastructure, and student sports activities.
7. Completion of the monthly report on college activities (courses, workshops, conferences, discussions for graduate students, etc.).
8. Responding to official books issued by the Department of Studies and Planning at the Presidency of the University of Karbala.
9. Monitoring the updating of data for affiliates with the Presidency of the University of Karbala.
