The College of Computer Science and Information Technology celebrated National Tree Planting Day by organizing a campaign to plant various types of trees across the college campus on Sunday, March 12, 2024.

Dr. Muafaq Kazem Al-Hasnawi, the Dean of the college, participated in the tree planting campaign organized by the Student Activities Unit of the college.

The campaign included cleaning activities, beautification of streets and squares, and lighting enhancements to improve the environment and present the college in its best light. Several staff members and students participated in the campaign.

The Dean emphasized the importance of the college community’s participation in such campaigns to foster development across various sectors through a comprehensive development plan aimed at enhancing cleanliness standards suitable for students. He also highlighted the importance of comprehensive cleanliness and awareness-raising to create an informed generation.
