The Psychological Counselling and Educational Rehabilitation Unit of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology at the University of Karbala held an electronic training course entitled “Drugs and its negative impact on the individual and society” on 13-14-15/4/2023 at 8:30 pm.
This course was presented by the lecturers Kawthar Nima Najm, Alia Nima Najm, and Ayat Shanchul Musa. The target group was the students of Karbala University.
The course curriculum included the following topics:
1- Concepts and definitions
2- Classification of drugs and types of taking
3- Religious and legal legislation on drugs
4- Factors that lead to drug abuse
The course aimed at introducing students to the current and future dangers of drugs on the individual and society.
