The College of Computer Science and Information Technology organized a workshop titled “The Role of Youth Centers in Countering Terrorism” on Monday, April 22, 2024, in the scientific departments.

The workshop was conducted by Assistant Lecturer Fadel Abbas Sabah and Assistant Lecturer Zahraa Abdul Amir Ahmed.

The workshop aimed to familiarize participants with the role of youth centers in countering terrorism.

Key topics covered in the workshop included:

• The concept of youth centers and their role in promoting social peace.
• Mechanisms for building youth capacities.
• Obstacles facing youth centers.

The workshop recommended the activation of the youth role in society and the fight against extremism in all its forms, considering youth as the guarantee of the future.
