The College of Agriculture at the University of Karbala invited the Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology at the University of Karbala to the Green Day Festival, in its fifth edition, on Wednesday, 5/3/2023.
Where the inauguration witnessed the presence of the university president, Professor Basem Khalil Al-Saidi, the first deputy governor of Karbala, Professor Jassim Al-Fatlawi, administrative and scientific assistants, a number of deans of colleges and specialists, and the participation of the governorate departments, institutions and unions specialized in agricultural affairs.
The festival included the opening of a computer lab and a number of smart classrooms equipped with modern educational tools, in addition to the opening of the headquarters of the scientific journal, and the opening of a number of exhibitions organized by the college departments, which included gardening, field crops, animal production, and the food industry, and honoring a number of distinguished participants in the festival and guests of honor.
And in a speech by the Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, Dr. Ahmed Al-Asadi, to the Media Division, “We support the College of Agriculture within our specialties in developing applications that serve modern agricultural patterns, as well as establishing computer laboratories according to standard specifications, as computer science and information technology have become an important tributary in many areas of scientific and applied life “
