The Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology at the University of Karbala, Dr. Mowafaq Kazem Al-Hasnawi, accompanied by the Scientific Assistant, Dr. Mohsen Hassan Hussein, and the Administrative Assistant, Dr. Muhannad Kamel Abdul-Hamid, conducted a visit to the academic departments of the college to review the progress of educational and administrative activities.

During the visit, the Dean met with the heads of departments, who provided a brief overview of the key ongoing academic programs and activities. The discussions also addressed the departments’ needs and requirements to ensure an optimal learning environment for students.

Dr. Al-Hasnawi emphasized the College Administration’s commitment to supporting all departments and closely monitoring both academic and administrative performance. He noted that such efforts are essential to achieving the College’s objectives within the broader vision of the University of Karbala—advancing higher education and promoting academic quality.

At the conclusion of the visit, the Dean issued a set of recommendations, highlighting the importance of enhancing academic performance, encouraging scientific research, and improving the academic and administrative work environment. He also commended the efforts of the department heads and staff for their dedication and contributions to the College and its students.
